Suryakumar Yadav continues his scoring spree in Ranji Trophy. Suryakumar Yadav’s quick-fire innings against Hyderabad helped Mumbai to steady their game after the early fall of Prithvi Shaw. Mumbai began their 2nd match of this Ranji Trophy season against Hyderabad today and lost the wicket of their opener, Prithvi Shaw, for just 23 runs of which Shaw scored 19 runs. THen Suryakumar Yadav along with Yashaswi Jaiswal put on a partnership of 153 runs. Suryakumar Yadav scored 90 (80 balls) before losing his wicket to Shashank at the strike rate of 112.50. His innings comprised 15 fours and 1 six. When Suryakumar Yadav lost his wicket Mumbai was 176/2. Now, Yashaswi Jaiswal completed his 7th first-class century in his 11th match. Mumbai’s score now is 248/2.

Surya is playing at another level now. This seems too easy for the guy.
Yashasvi Jaiswal has been amazing too! He’s got a FC average of over 82 now. Definitely knocking on the test door really hard!

Yeah, it is going to be really hard for selectors to select a team among the handful of youngsters performing consistently and in all formats of the game.
