Bangladesh All-rounder earlier signed an contract with a company named Betwinner News. Bangladesh Cricket Board said that they are going to investigate Shakib’s social media post regarding endorsing an contract with a betting site called Betwinner news.
BCB said as follows : “There are two things. Firstly there is no chance of taking permission because we won’t give permission. If there is anything related with betting we won’t give any permission,” Nazmul was quoted as saying by the website.” “That means he did not ask any permission from us. Today BCB president, Nazmul Hassan had stated that Shakib would never play for Bangladesh again if he did not end his “affiliation with a betting company”.
