Robin Uthappa to play for Dubai Capitals in ILT20 League

Robin Uthappa, 37-year-old Indian Cricketer who retired from International cricket in September had a keen interest in representing T20 leagues around the world. But BCCI terms and condition didn’t support his dream but after retirement, now he can pursue his dream of playing T20 Leagues around the world. As the first step toward his desire, he is representing Dubai Capitals in the ILT20 league.

The BCCI has not permitted active Indian players to take part in franchise leagues other than the IPL. The handful that has done so - Virender Sehwag in the T10 League, Yuvraj Singh in the Global T20 in Canada - have only been able to do so after announcing their retirements.
