Ravindra Jadeja becomes the fastest Indian cricketer to score 2500 runs and 250 wickets in Test Cricket

Ravindra Jadeja brought up a momentous occasion for himself and Indian cricket on Friday, February 17th, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. With the wicket of Usman Khawaja, Jadeja claimed his 250th Test wicket, making him the fastest Indian and second-fastest overall to reach the milestone of 250 Test wickets and 2500-plus Test runs.

Jadeja, who is widely regarded as one of the best all-rounders in the world, achieved the feat in his 62nd Test match, putting him ahead of the likes of legendary Indian cricketer Kapil Dev in terms of speed. The only player to achieve the milestone faster than Jadeja was the legendary English all-rounder Ian Botham, who reached the feat in just 55 Test matches.
