Perth Scorchers have announced replacement for Laurie Evans

Laurie Evans, an England player who tested positive for an Anti-dope test was part of Perth Scorchers in last year’s BBL. Soon after his anti-dope test results said positive the Perth Scorchers terminated the deal with Laurie Evans.

Now, the replacement for Laurie Evans has been announced by the Perth Scorchers. The star player of South Africa Faf du Plessis is a replacement overseas player for the first part of the BBL. Du Plessis did not get picked up in the original draft where he was a platinum player. Scorchers expect him to be available for the first seven matches of the tournament before he returns home for the SA20. Perth Scorcher’s other overseas signings are England duo Phil Salt and Tymal Mills.
