Pakistan won their first test in Faisalabad ground against West Indies. West Indies who were set to chase 240 got bowled out for just 53. This was the lowest total in a test by West Indies until Australia bowled out West Indies for 51 in Trinidad in 1998-99. 53 by West Indies is still the lowest total in tests in Pakistan.
