Virender Sehwag became the second batter to score a double-ton in ODI cricket. Virender Sehwag achieved this feat against West Indies in an ODI match which was held in Indore. India also registered their highest team total in ODI matches 418 runs in 50 overs. Sehwag got out in the 47th over in that match. Sehwag’s innings stood as the highest ODI score for three years, until it was overtaken by Rohit Sharma in 2014.
