A commanding performance from the Kiwis. Earlier in the day, after being inserted, the Indian openers got off to a really good start but then lost their way. Iyer though took them to a really good total with a cameo from Sundar but two outstanding innings from Latham and Williamson saw the Kiwis take a 1-0 lead in this series.
India will look to square things up as these two meet again on the 27th of this month at 7 am IST (1.30 am GMT).
