That is the reason that most of the senior players opted out of playing in this competition and the captaincy job was handed over to MS Dhoni. No one gave a chance to that Indian team, especially with the bowlers like Joginder Sharma & Sreesanth who used to be expensive bowlers, Thala managed to pull off the impossible with his smart decision makings.
