Earlier this month Warwickshire County Cricket Club announced the signing of India all-rounder Jayant Yadav for the last three matches of their County Championship season and they’ve announced the signing of Mohammed Siraj in August.
Today both the players have made their debut against Somerset county cricket club. Somerset have won the toss and decided to bat first and they’ve scored 182 for 8 at the stumps. Mohammed Siraj picked 4 wickets on his debut while Jayant Yadav picked the wicket of Somerset opener Tom Lammonby.
Lewis Gregory has scored unbeaten 60 runs off 93 balls for Somerset and he’ll resume the innings on Day 2 along with Sajid Khan who’s scored unbeaten 31 off 33 balls so far. The pair has shared 42 runs partnership so far and Mohammed Siraj will looking forward to the day 2 to pick a fifer on his debut for the county club.
