KKR assigns new fielding coach

Kolkata Knight Riders have announced their new fielding coach who took over the responsibility from the English player James Foster. The Netherlands’ former skipper Ryan Ten Doeschate has been announced as the new fielding coach for KKR he has also been the part of KKR team when the team won the IPL title in 2012 and 2014. James Foster will be elevated as an assistant coach and both Ryan ten Doeschate and James Foster will work with Chandrakant Pandit head coach of KKR who replaced Brendon McCullum.

“We are delighted that James Foster has taken on more responsibility in his new role as an assistant coach and he will be a great resource for the head coach, Chandu Pandit, along with Abhishek Nayar (assistant coach), Bharat Arun (bowling coach) and Omkar Salvi assistant bowling coach,” Venky Mysore, the CEO of Knight Riders, said in a press release.

"In addition, we are very happy to welcome Tendo back to the KKR family in his role as fielding coach. Tendo played an important role as a player from 2011-14 and in the two championships, KKR won in 2012 and 2014 and has been a genuine supporter of KKR all these years.

“These two appointments strengthen the support staff under the leadership of Head Coach Chandu Pandit.”
