Josh Hazlewood, an Australian pacer who missed the first two tests of BGT 2023 is ruled out of the remaining two tests due to his left Achilles injury. Australian head coach Andrew McDonald confirmed that Hazlewood will travel back to Sydney along with Pat Cummins and continue his rehabilitation programme back in Sydney. While McDonald confirmed Hazlewood’s unavailability for the remainder of the series, he was less certain about David Warner’s status.
