India won the warm-up game against Western Australia Cricket Association XI

India won the first warm-up game against Western Australia Cricket Association XI today.

Suryakumar Yadav continued his good form as the Indian team beat the Western Australia Cricket Association XI by 13 runs in its first practice game ahead of the T20 World Cup, in Perth on Monday.

The Indian team, which has been training at the WACA for the past three days, wanted to get used to the pace and bounce of the track. They made 158 for 6 in their 20 overs and the WACA XI managed only 145 for 8 in their 20 overs.

Suryakumar Yadav scored half-century in today’s game. Rohit Sharma’s form with the bat and expensive spell from Harshal Patel is going to be a major concern going ahead to the World Cup. Arshdeep Singh has bowled a wonderful spell of 3 overs and gave 6 runs and also picked 3 wickets. In my view, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammad Shami and Arshdeep Singh should be in the playing 11 and Harshal Patel should be on the bench.

Brilliant bowling from Arshdeep Singh. He will be the key bowler of the Indian bowling unit
