India and Bangladesh have been confirmed as the hosts for the next two editions of the Asia Cup. With a T20 World Cup scheduled in 2026, the 2025 edition of the Asia Cup will also be played in the 20-over format. Similarly, the 2027 edition scheduled to be held in Bangladesh, will be played in the ODI format considering there is a 50-over World Cup in South Africa in the same year.
