England seal the series with a thrilling win against Pakistan

England 281 (Duckett 63, Pope 60, Abrar 7-114) and 275 (Brook 108, Duckett 79, Abrar 4-120) beat Pakistan 202 (Babar 75, Shakeel 63, Leach 4-98) and 328 (Shakeel 94, Imam 60, Wood 4-65) by 26 runs

England won the toss and chose to bat first. With Ollie Pope (60) and Ben Duckett (63) putting on a partnership of 79(61) for the second wicket was broken by the debutant Abrar Ahmed. Abrar also picked up 7 wickets in the first innings and 4 in the second innings. Then Ben Stokes along with Will Jacks put on a partnership of 61. Then for the 10th wicket James Anderson and Mark Wood added 36 runs which is a very valuable knock from Mark Wood. England was made all out for 281 runs in the first innings.

Pakistan was stunned by the early wicket of Imam ul Haq. Babar Azam along with Abdullah Shafique added 46 runs stand for the 2nd wicket before Abdullah Shafique lost his wicket to Jack Leach. Then Saud Shakeel came in to bat and played sensibly and both Babar Azam and Saud Shakeel took control of the match. They both put on a partnership of 91 runs. After losing both Babar Azam and Saud Shakeel, Pakistan struggled to score and got all out for 202 runs. Pakistan lost 6 wickets for 44 runs in the first innings.

England lost 2 early wickets in the second innings. Joe Root, Ben Duckett, Ben Stokes and Harry Brooks played exclusively and took England to the lead of 354 runs. Harry Brooks has hit a century in the second innings. In the second innings, Pakistan tried all they could but their efforts ended in vain as Babar Azam fell early. Mark Wood picked up 4 wickets. England won this thrilling encounter by just 26 runs. Harry Brook was awarded Player of the match.
