ECB to launch a independent Cricket Regulator

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) announced the launch of Cricket Regulator, an independent ‘body which will be responsible for monitoring compliance with the game’s regulations, enforcement of adherence to those regulations and providing relevant information and education’. The Cricket Regulator will be responsible for different areas of work that had previously been in ECB’s remit, including safeguarding, integrity (anti-corruption, misconduct, anti-doping) and anti-discrimination.
