Dawid Malan's century helped England to cross the line against Bangladesh

Bangladesh batted first and got restricted to just 209 runs in the 1st ODI between England and Bangladesh. In reply, England needed 210 runs to win. Taskin Ahmed along with spinners Taijul Islam and Shakib al Hasan created pressure by keeping the line tight and picking wickets at regular intervals. In a matter of time, Bangladesh seemed to have the upper hand in the game but thanks to the brilliance of Dawid Malan and Adil Rashid’s 51 runs stand for the 8th wicket helped England to cross the line. Malan was awarded player of the match for his unbeaten 114 runs 145 balls with 8 fours and 4 sixes to his innings.
