David Warner is set to lead Delhi Capitals in the IPL 2023 edition in the absence of Rishab Pant who is recovering from a horrific car crash. Delhi Capitals management and head coach Ricky Ponting agreed that Warner is the best man to be appointed interim captain. David Warner has already led the Delhi Capitals team as an interim captain in 2009 and 2013.
