CSA T20 League - MI owned Franchise named their players signed before auction

The CSA T20 league is all set to happen between January 6 to February 12. The CSA T20 league is a new tournament from Cricket South Africa, in which there are 6 teams in total. The date of the tournament is clashing between two tournaments around the world. One is the Big Bash League and the other one is the inaugural T20 tournament in UAE ILT20.

Reportedly all the franchises in the tournaments are owned by IPL franchises. CSK sports ltd has acquired the Johannesberg franchise, and Mumbai Indians owners have acquired the Cape town franchise, The sun tv group which owns Sunrisers Hyderabad have acquired the Port Elizabeth franchise. Lucknow super giants owners have acquired the Durban team, while Rajasthan Royals bought The Paarl Team. The Delhi Daredevils owners have acquired The Pretoria team.

According to league rules, a team can sign 5 players before auction 3 from overseas 1 from South African international player and 1 uncapped South African player.

The Mumbai Indians-owned Cape town is the first franchise to announce the 5 players whom they have signed before the auction. The players’ names are Rashid Khan, Liam Livingstone, Sam Curran, Kagiso Rabada, and Dewald Brevis.

The CSK-owned franchise has signed Faf Du Plessis other names are to be announced and other teams are yet to announce the players whom they have signed. So far 11 England players have been signed for the league most from the overseas team, next to that 10 Sri Lankan players have been signed. Till now there were no Pakistani Players have been signed. Is it because the Indian owners own the franchises in the league?

As a cricket fan, I wish even Pakistani players should be considered in the league. What’s your view on this? Should Pakistan Players be considered in the league?
