Ian Botham, the legendary all-rounder is the first to achieve this feat in international cricket by picking the wickets of both father and son Lance Cairns and Chris Cairns respectively. In ODIs, Botham had picked only the wicket of Lance Cairns but in the test matches, he has picked both the wickets of Lance Cairns and Chris Cairns. Lance got out a lot of times to Ian Botham while Chris lost his wicket only once to the all-rounder.

Wasim Akram, former Pakistan captain is the other bowler who has picked both the wickets of father and son in international cricket. Way back in 1985 he picked the wicket of Lance Cairns and Ten years later, in Tests, Wasim got Chris Cairns out.
- Mitchell Starc - Shivnarine and Tagenarine Chanderpaul
Mitchell Starc is the 3rd one to join the list to take both the wickets of father and son. While he got the wicket of Shivnarine in 2012, he collected the wicket of his son in the recently concluded 1st test between Australia and West Indies. It was the debut match for Tagenraine Chanderpaul where he has hit his maiden half-century in the first innings.
