England has announced two white-ball squads for the ODI and T20I series against New Zealand, both of which comprise four games each. Uncapped Surrey quick Gus Atkinson gets his maiden international call-up and has been picked in both squads. John Turner also gets his maiden call-up but has been picked only for the T20Is. Josh Tongue, who made his international debut in the recently-concluded Ashes series, also gets a shot in the T20I format. Ben Stokes reverses ODI retirement and was picked in the ODI squad ahead of CWC 2023.
