Rajat Patidar who suffers from a heel injury is advised to undergo surgery. The BCCI said it will bear all the expenses of Patidar’s surgery to his left heel, which has ruled him out of the entire IPL 2023. “The BCCI will send Patidar for surgery although he is not a centrally contracted player. He is one of the targeted players and we will ensure he gets the best treatment,” a BCCI official said.
Rajat Patidar will take treatment in England and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) also confirmed on Saturday that Shreyas Iyer too is on his way to the United Kingdom for his back surgery.
