BCCI has banned Boria Majumdar for 2 years for Saha incident

Breaking: The committee of BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla, treasurer Arun Dhumal and councillor Prabhtej Singh Bhatia agreed with the charges brought by Saha against Majumdar and recommended to the BCCI Apex Committee that for two years, the journalist be:

  • Banned from getting accreditation as a member of the press in any match (domestic or international) in India

  • Banned from getting any interviews with registered players in India; and

  • Banned from access to any of BCCI or member association-owned cricket facilities.

Absolutely. Great to see BCCI taking action on this matter. Initially, I thought this will be gone without noticing because Saha refused to reveal the name.
