Andre Coley appointed as interim coach for West Indies Men's Team

Andre Coley, 48 has been appointed as interim head coach for the West Indies Men’s senior team by West Indies cricket for the team’s tour of Zimbabwe and South Africa early next year. As Phil Simmon stepped down as the head coach of the West Indies team due to an early exit from the World Cup campaign the decision was made. But he continued the position till the Australia series.

Coley served as West Indies’ assistant coach, incidentally under Simmons, when they won the T20 World Cup in 2016. More recently, he served as the head coach of the CWI Academy program and has had coaching stints with the Under-19 as well as the senior women’s team.
